J5 Consulting is seeking a Travel Data ETL Engineer to provide operations and maintenance and new development for travel-data applications and backend environments. The role focuses on travel-data models, ETL pipelines, data ingestion, analytics, and ongoing application support. Required capabilities include Python, AWS, Apache Spark, relational databases, SQL, Linux, shell scripting, and unit testing; NiFi, AirFlow, Java, Scala, EMR/Spark administration, performance tuning, Hive or Iceberg, and cloud security are highly desired. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a full-scope polygraph, and is expected to be onsite in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
