Nimble Gravity is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to assess and stabilize MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server operations for a client engagement. The role involves reviewing access models, backups, monitoring, and maintenance; diagnosing and fixing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views; tuning queries and indexes; validating backups and recovery; improving monitoring and alerting; triaging incidents; and documenting operational practices. Candidates need production database experience with both platforms, legacy-database experience, strong stored-procedure debugging skills, backup and recovery testing, query and index tuning, monitoring, security, and clear documentation.
