Storage Strategies Inc. is hiring a Database Administrator in Norfolk, Virginia to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Atlantic Fleet by developing and maintaining databases and tools compatible with the Navy Flank Speed environment. The role involves managing inventory, maintenance, and allowance data; creating import, export, reporting, metrics, and graphic displays; and analyzing performance data. It is primarily remote with occasional visits to Navy ships and facilities and 10% out-of-region travel. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a SECRET security clearance, extensive Navy and Coast Guard ship experience, and proficiency with specified Navy applications and Microsoft Office tools.
