Description
The Database Administrator will maintain the integrity, security, and availability of databases across Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE environments. Responsibilities include database administration, security and integrity policies, user account management, disaster recovery, performance tuning, index maintenance, monitoring, data modeling, database installation, architecture coordination, DBMS evaluation, and technology strategy. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, at least 5 years administering Microsoft SQL Server databases, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.
