Description
Vantage is hiring a mid-level Database Administrator to install, patch, upgrade, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases and Ubuntu Linux servers; administer cloud-based database solutions; develop and tune SQL objects and queries; manage backups, storage, users, documentation, and data migrations; monitor server telemetry; and participate in an on-call rotation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience, 2–4 years of production SQL Server administration experience, and 1–3 years of production Linux server experience, with PostgreSQL, reporting tools, and programming experience preferred. The position is hybrid and expects less than 5% travel.
