Description
The Database Administrator will support the performance, security, reliability, governance, and operational maintenance of Snowflake cloud data platforms. Responsibilities include administering warehouses and databases, implementing RBAC and data masking, monitoring query and warehouse performance, supporting cost governance and capacity planning, testing backup and disaster-recovery procedures, troubleshooting data pipelines and integrations, and collaborating with data engineers and other database platforms. The role requires 3–5 years of database administration experience, including 1–2 years with Snowflake in a production environment, along with SQL, Snowflake architecture, security, monitoring, and cloud platform knowledge.
