Cirad is hiring a Database Data Processing Officer for an 18-month volunteering assignment in Kourou, French Guiana, from 01/03/2026 to 31/08/2027. The role involves migrating data from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, verifying data integrity, developing and optimizing data-processing scripts, coordinating inventory databases with GIS and remote-sensing data, and establishing a shared data-processing pipeline. The successful candidate must have Bac+5 education, strong data-management skills, knowledge of SQL, R, and Python, DBMS proficiency, French and English proficiency, and project-coordination abilities; geomatics knowledge is appreciated.
