Description
Alarm.com is seeking a Database Engineer to manage Microsoft SQL Server databases across development, testing, and life-safety production environments. The role includes designing and implementing Always On, maintaining database servers and processes, monitoring performance and availability, handling incidents and requests, performing backups and recovery, supporting security and compliance, and providing technical direction to engineering teams. The position requires a computer science or similar engineering degree, at least 10 years of database implementation and Microsoft SQL Server experience, and expertise in high availability, performance tuning, automation, troubleshooting, and SQL development.
