Description
ICU is hiring a Database Engineer to manage and optimize hybrid database landscapes, lead or support cloud migrations, automate infrastructure and database operations, build observability, and contribute to high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies. The role also covers data security, compliance, streaming, NoSQL, and data-warehouse decisions in regulated financial or government environments. Candidates need relational-database experience, strong SQL, production migration and recovery experience, cloud and container familiarity, automation and scripting skills, and the ability to work on-site in the Netherlands. Compensation is €4,500–€5,500 gross per month, with additional benefits and a career path toward Senior, Lead, or Architect roles.
