Description
The Database Engineer provides technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, storage, retrieval, data flow, and analysis. The role develops relational and object-oriented databases, database parser and loading software, requirements, queries, scripts, macros, and complex systems using Open Database Connectivity and cloud methodologies. It covers the database lifecycle from requirements through system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability, and may involve database administration, optimization, and maintenance. An active government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
