Description
TEHORA is hiring a remote Database Engineer to design, implement, optimize, secure, and document a PostgreSQL-based data layer for weather observations, historical data, geospatial information, and time-series models. The role includes PostGIS and TimescaleDB work, query and retention optimization, data migration and validation, backup and disaster-recovery planning, and collaboration with backend, GIS, and architecture teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of production PostgreSQL experience, PostGIS experience, and strong query-optimization and data-quality skills; French and/or English communication is required.
