Description
Modus is hiring a fully remote Database Engineer embedded in its Data & ML practice to lead technical pre-sales engagements, database migration and modernization architectures, proof-of-concepts, workshops, and reusable architectural IP. The role works with sellers and clients to translate complex data challenges into production-grade solutions, covering AWS data services, relational and NoSQL platforms, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and Oracle or Exadata migrations. Candidates need hands-on database modernization experience, strong database and cloud infrastructure knowledge, software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to operate in distributed, asynchronous teams.
