Amazon Web Services is hiring a Database Engineer II in Seattle, Washington, to resolve customer technical issues through telephone, email, and web or live-chat channels; troubleshoot complex problems; staff support operations; escalate tickets when needed; improve support processes; provide feedback to AWS teams; and coach new team members. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or a related field, three years of experience in the offered job or related technical occupations, three years of technical support experience, one year of software development experience, and one year of experience with an object-oriented language. The position is 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a Seattle salary range of $124,700 to $168,800 per year, plus possible sign-on bonus and restricted stock units and medical, financial, and other benefits.
