Amazon Web Services is hiring a Database Engineer II in Dallas, Texas. The role designs and implements complex data structures for applications and business intelligence analytics using Amazon Redshift, RDS for PostgreSQL, and MySQL; supports the full development lifecycle, documentation, data architecture, database operations, and mentoring; and serves as a Redshift Subject Matter Expert for AWS customers. The position requires a master's degree or equivalent with one year of experience, or a bachelor's degree with five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, plus one year of experience across data warehousing, analytics, ETL, Python, AWS Cloud, Linux, networking, databases, business intelligence, and big data. It is a 40-hour-per-week role with a salary range of $125,107 to $168,800 per year.
