Apple’s Postgres Database Team is hiring a Postgres Database Engineer in Bangalore, India, to design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot high-volume Postgres databases across baremetal, AWS, and Kubernetes environments. The role includes database architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, replication, performance tuning, backups, security, capacity planning, and support for application teams. Candidates need 5–8 years of Postgres experience, strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and MVCC, and experience with cloud infrastructure; CKA, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, and Python knowledge are preferred.
