GCI is seeking a highly experienced Database Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert for relational database technologies across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves modernizing, designing, deploying, optimizing, securing, and maintaining hybrid database architectures while collaborating with infrastructure, application, security, DevOps, and data teams. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training or experience, at least 10 years of related database technology experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph; U.S. citizenship is also required.
