Apple is hiring an advanced Infrastructure Engineer for its Services Engineering Infrastructure team. The role owns complex technical problems, leads cross-functional projects, designs and operates highly available distributed database systems, automates operational workflows, and mentors junior engineers. It requires 8+ years of relevant infrastructure, site reliability, or distributed systems experience, strong software and microservices fundamentals, Kubernetes and cloud experience, programming proficiency, and expertise in large-scale distributed services, reliability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
