Description
Zopa is hiring a Database Administrator to support mission-critical PostgreSQL and AWS database services, automate database operations through infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD, improve backup, restore, monitoring, and replication practices, and help engineers safely self-serve database capabilities. The role partners with Cloud Infrastructure on AWS and Terraform, contributes to the transition from Microsoft SQL Server to PostgreSQL, and joins a shared on-call rota. It requires practical AWS, PostgreSQL, Terraform, CI/CD, and production on-call experience, with a hybrid London arrangement requiring attendance at the office two to three days per week.
