Istra is hiring a Database Reliability Engineer to design, implement, configure, and maintain database platforms across Linux, on-premises, and cloud environments. The role focuses on database reliability, availability, performance optimization, security, backups, recovery, monitoring, and automation, while supporting developers and researchers and operating large-scale distributed data platforms. Candidates need at least 8 years of production database engineering experience, expertise with MySQL, Redis, and InfluxDB, knowledge of additional databases and Linux systems, scripting or programming skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
