Prex is hiring a full-time Database Platform Engineer to operate, monitor, and optimize relational databases on AWS, including RDS MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Aurora. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, SQL and query optimization, internal automation tools, schema migrations, infrastructure-as-code provisioning, and data synchronization. Candidates need at least three years of experience in database, cloud database administration, platform engineering, or DevOps/Backend roles, along with strong SQL, scripting, and AWS knowledge.
