Point72 is hiring a Database Support Engineer to support critical enterprise database platforms across development, QA, UAT, and production environments. The role involves monitoring health, capacity, performance, and availability; responding to alerts; performing maintenance and upgrades; troubleshooting incidents; collaborating with application and database teams; contributing to automation and self-service capabilities; and participating in a follow-the-sun shift model. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least seven years of database administration and infrastructure engineering experience, experience with multiple database technologies and cloud services, scripting expertise, observability knowledge, and strong cross-timezone collaboration skills.
