Description
The Data Architect owns the shape and consistency of enterprise data by designing conceptual, logical, and physical models, defining canonical entities and relationships, establishing bronze, silver, and gold layer standards, building the semantic layer, and partnering with data governance on ownership, lineage, and quality. The role also documents data dictionaries and mappings, reviews pipeline designs, and translates business requirements into models. It requires 7+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or analytics engineering, along with strong dimensional modeling, SQL, Delta Lake, slowly changing dimensions, change data capture, historization, and data quality knowledge.
