CoStar Group is hiring a Databricks Platform & Database Engineer in Arlington, Virginia, to own and operate enterprise Databricks workspaces on AWS while managing a portfolio of relational and non-relational databases across cloud and on-premises environments. The role covers workspace administration, Unity Catalog, security, upgrades, cluster and warehouse optimization, data ingestion, database provisioning and migrations, Terraform infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, governance, incident response, and 24/7 production support. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of database engineering or data platform experience, and hands-on enterprise Databricks experience; it is hybrid, with office work Monday through Thursday and work from home on Friday, and offers base compensation of $136,000 to $177,000 annually.
