Description
The Databricks Platform Engineer builds and operates the Databricks platform for other teams by provisioning and hardening accounts, workspaces, metastores, and compute policies through infrastructure as code. The role integrates identity and SCIM provisioning, manages secrets and network connectivity, builds CI/CD pipelines, implements observability, manages upgrades and change control, and serves as an escalation point for platform incidents and performance issues. It requires at least five years of platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps experience, including two years administering Databricks, along with Terraform, cloud, Python, Bash, Git, and CI/CD expertise.
