The Databricks Solutions Architect defines and leads lakehouse architecture from discovery through go-live, covering workspace and catalog topology, compute strategy, governance, security, cost, performance, reliability, and enterprise integrations. The role produces reference architectures, decision records, and runbooks, advises on migration sequencing and risk, and presents to senior technical and business stakeholders. It requires 8+ years of data architecture, data engineering, or platform engineering experience, including 3+ years designing on Databricks, along with expertise in lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Apache Spark, cloud services, and security and compliance.
