Lifesteps is hiring several part-time Day Program Aides, also described as Developmental Disability Aides, to work at its Adult Training Facility in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania. The role assists special-needs adults with crafts, community outings, and life skills; observes participant accomplishments; maintains a safe and clean environment; and transports participants in an agency vehicle. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a current driver’s license, CPI certification, and First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within six months. One year of human-services direct-care experience and a relevant associate or bachelor’s degree are preferred.
