The Direct Support Professional works in a day program with individuals in workplace and community settings, helping them increase their quality of life through mentorship, support, safe participation, and community activities. The role requires availability from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a criminal background check, age and driving-records requirements, clear communication, documentation, crisis handling, and a positive attitude. It is an entry-level full-time position starting at $15 per hour, with health insurance and other benefits for full-time employees.
