The Direct Support Professional works in a day program with individuals in workplace and community settings, helping them increase their quality of life through mentorship, support, and participation in activities. The role requires availability from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a criminal background check, a clean driving record or limited violations, strong communication, documentation, crisis handling, a positive attitude, and completion of required training. It is an entry-level position paying $15.00 per hour depending on experience, with health insurance and other benefits for full-time employees.
