The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Groton, Connecticut, to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support; participates in individualized support planning; administers prescribed medications; completes documentation; provides first aid and CPR; assists with transportation and meal preparation; and mentors participants toward independence. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, and English communication skills required.
