Description
De Lijn is hiring a Bus Technician in Grimbergen to perform preventive maintenance, electrical and electronic repairs, diagnostics, and work on onboard equipment such as radios, GPS, cameras, and information systems. The role follows a fixed Monday-to-Friday day shift of 39 hours per week, with a compensatory day off every four weeks. Applicants need automotive or bus-technology education or equivalent experience, basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and diagnostics, Dutch proficiency, and a Category B driving license; a Category C and/or D license can be obtained internally. Pay is €18.9317 gross per hour for diploma holders or €19.8679 gross per hour for those with specialized or extensive experience, plus location and meal allowances and additional leave.
