Description
The Class A CDL Delivery Driver safely delivers and retrieves office products for S.P. Richards customers on scheduled day routes. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, route deliveries, order verification, proof-of-delivery and hours-of-service documentation, hazardous-materials transport, loading and unloading, paperwork, vehicle maintenance, and customer service. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with an active HAZMAT endorsement, at least one year of verifiable Class A CDL experience within the past three years, an MVR with no more than two violations in the last three years, no disqualifying DUI/DWI or serious traffic violations, English communication ability, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and move heavier loads. The driver must reside within 60 miles of the distribution center, and a high school diploma or GED, prior Class A delivery experience, and familiarity with HAZMAT documentation, ELDs, tablets, Roadnet, or similar routing systems are preferred.
