The Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center is hiring a daytime Certified Veterinary Technician to support its expanding emergency department. The role involves triaging and assessing emergency patients, obtaining histories and nursing assessments, placing intravenous catheters, processing laboratory samples, administering medications and fluids, monitoring hospitalized and critical-care patients, assisting with emergency procedures and anesthesia, maintaining medical records, and communicating with clients. The position requires a credentialed veterinary technician and offers a starting rate of $26 per hour plus a weekend shift differential, along with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
