Description
The role leads purchasing and supplier strategy for variant part families across the China region, including cost analysis, supplier qualification and development, annual price negotiations, supplier selection and evaluation, contract and deviation management, supplier performance management, and market surveys. It also manages a team, sets targets, coaches associates, and coordinates with cross-functional teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electronic engineering or a similar field, 5–10 years of relevant experience including at least 3 years in purchasing or supply chain management leadership, hydraulic-component cost and manufacturing knowledge, negotiation and communication skills, financial and tax awareness, and fluent English; German is a plus.
