AWS is hiring a Chief Engineer for its Data Center Engineering Operations team to oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of data center electrical, mechanical, and fire/safety systems. The role manages critical equipment, escalates facility issues, performs root-cause analysis, maintains CMMS records, leads technical projects, and trains Engineering Operations Technicians. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in data centers or other critical environments, with knowledge of critical infrastructure systems and project management preferred.
