Description
AWS is hiring a Chief Engineer for its Data Center Engineering Operations team to oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of data center electrical, mechanical, and fire protection/life safety systems. The role manages critical equipment uptime, escalates facility issues, performs root cause analysis, leads low-to-medium impact infrastructure projects, and trains and mentors Engineering Operations Technicians. It requires a relevant bachelor's degree, at least five years of data center or critical-environment experience, and significant experience operating and maintaining critical infrastructure.
