Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Senior Hardware Application Engineer for its Data Center Solutions Business Unit. The role supports field application engineers, sales teams, and customers through product introduction, design, bring-up, testing, and post-production of processor-based storage integrated circuits and reference designs. Responsibilities include hardware and firmware debugging, customer architecture support, root-cause analysis, documentation, project management, and travel to customer sites. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field, at least 7.5 years of hardware/system design, debug, and support experience, and strong system, hardware, firmware, signal integrity, and board-design skills.
