Description
The Dean of Extended Learning provides strategic, administrative, and operational leadership for a college’s noncredit Extended Learning programs, including adult education, high school equivalency, ESL, OASIS, and other assigned programs. The role oversees program planning, curriculum, budgets, grants, faculty and staff, facilities, compliance, assessment, student support, marketing, and regional consortium activities, while representing the college to stakeholders and participating in governance. The position requires a master’s degree in a related discipline, at least three years of recent administrative and leadership experience, and two years of postsecondary teaching experience preferred; it is a full-time, Monday–Friday role contingent on California Adult Education Program funding.
