Description

Hebrew Public is seeking a Dean of Culture for a 12-month role at SIHP. This position involves leading and supporting the academic program, driving continuous improvement of instruction through data-driven instructional coaching and professional development. The successful candidate will have a history of achieving student success and will focus on cultivating a vibrant, inclusive school environment, promoting student belonging and leadership, integrating SEL, and fostering strong family engagement.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Three years full-time classroom teaching experience, preferably in grades pre-K-8.
Preferred Qualifications: NYS Teacher Certification.
A team player with a strong work ethic and consistent follow-through.
Very strong understanding of the social and emotional development of children.
Exceptionally effective at building lasting and meaningful relationships with elementary aged students and their families.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong track record of student achievement in past roles.
A strong sense of personal accountability for school-wide student achievement and social/emotional growth.
An unshakable conviction that all students can learn at a high level.
