Description
AECOM’s Disaster Recovery Division is seeking Debris Specialists to join an on-call cadre for temporary disaster-recovery assignments. The role supports post-disaster debris management, cost estimation, technical validation, field monitoring, site reporting, FEMA reimbursement and Public Assistance compliance, contractor performance monitoring, client communication, and on-site support. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in emergency management, public administration, planning, or a related field, at least two years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience, a valid United States driver’s license, and the ability to travel to work sites. Deployment is on short notice, and the role requires flexible hours, outdoor work in disaster-affected areas, and appropriate personal protective equipment.
