Description
The employer is hiring a Deckhand for the Matador 3, a vessel supporting complex lifting, transport, and maritime operations in the Heavy Lift, Salvage & Transport department. The role involves assisting with lifting and transport, preparing and carrying out project work, guiding loads, coupling and positioning equipment, maintaining deck and equipment, maintaining safety and compliance, and collaborating with the crew. Applicants must be at least 18, hold an inland waterways service record book, preferably have a deckhand diploma, hold or be willing to obtain a VCA certificate, be willing to undertake additional training, be comfortable on the water, be a responsible team player, and have good Dutch; the schedule is two weeks on, two weeks off.
