Description
The employer is hiring a full-time Deckhand for varied work on and around the water throughout Belgium. The role involves maintaining pontoons and push barges, supporting construction sites, assisting crane operators, performing minor construction and welding work, maneuvering barges, maintaining crane equipment, and conducting daily equipment checks. Candidates must hold a valid service record book, have basic welding, electronics, and mechanics knowledge, speak Dutch or English, and hold a category B driver's license; a BE license is preferred. The position is on a day shift, pays at least 18.592 gross according to construction-sector pay scales, and may lead to a permanent contract after a successful trial period.
