Cover is hiring a Deep Learning Engineer to research, design, implement, optimize, and deploy autonomous deep learning models for detecting concealed weapons in K-12 schools. The role focuses on processing sparse point clouds, performing weapon segmentation and detection, building synthetic-data training pipelines, validating models against real sensor data, and deploying efficient neural networks on embedded devices. The position requires PyTorch or another major deep learning framework, object detection and classification with radar or lidar point clouds, and a US Person status due to export restrictions. It is a full-time role requiring five days per week in the office, with a US base salary of $150,000 to $350,000 annually.
