Description
The Deep Learning Team Leader - Perception will lead and technically guide a team of deep learning engineers developing and integrating vision-based perception algorithms for an autonomous driving system. The role manages perception projects, research-to-deployment initiatives, data pipelines, neural network design, performance metrics, product alignment, recruitment, and cross-functional collaboration, while also contributing hands-on deep learning research. It requires a master's degree or equivalent experience, at least two years managing a team of three or more engineers, at least five years of hands-on deep learning experience, computer vision expertise, PyTorch, Python, and strong mathematical ability. The position is on-site in San Jose, California, with an annual salary range of 190,000 to 210,000.
