RIHousing is hiring a hybrid Default Counselor-Inspect in Providence, Rhode Island, to conduct fieldwork and borrower outreach for mortgage delinquency, property condition, default prevention, foreclosure sales, and eviction hearings. The role includes property inspections, collections reporting, municipal documentation, vendor and utility coordination, and loan-status monitoring. It requires three years of mortgage collections and counseling experience, knowledge of insured loans and foreclosure processes, strong communication and organizational skills, an associate's degree in business administration or a related field, bilingual ability, and a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
