Description
The DEFECT Process Engineer will analyze and improve manufacturing defects and yield loss, detect process abnormalities, improve equipment-related defects, apply data analysis and AI, and support projects such as capacity expansion, new technology development, and line yield improvement. The role reports to the Aizu manufacturing engineering manager, contributes to department and factory KPIs, manages project progress, develops engineering capabilities, and maintains stakeholder relationships. It requires at least 10 years of semiconductor DEFECT engineering experience, AI business-improvement experience, a university degree, Japanese language proficiency, and work authorization in Japan; visa sponsorship is not available.
