Description
The Kitchen Manager oversees and directs the Deli Department in the absence of and under the direction of the Deli Department Team Leader, ensuring efficient operations, customer service, product quality, safety, compliance, labor and margin performance, and team development. The role includes supervising team members, training new hires, ordering and merchandising products, maintaining inventory and sanitation standards, and supporting storewide projects. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of customer service experience, at least two years of food service purchasing, preparation, or perishable-product merchandising experience, food safety certification or commitment to obtain it within one month, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The salary is $18.71 to $21.61 per hour.
