Description
The Deli Manager assists the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals, supervises and directs Deli personnel, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, prepares and prices food products, manages inventory and supplies, analyzes recipe profitability, and supports customer service. The role requires effective communication, basic math, the ability to handle stressful situations, and a current food handlers permit once employed; chef skills, retail experience, and a second language are desired.
