Description
The Food and Beverage Cook prepares and cooks meals and substitute items according to recipes, quality, presentation, and food-preparation standards; regulates cooking equipment; thaws and arranges food; maintains food logs; monitors food quality and quantity; and communicates menu specials and out-of-stock items to service staff. The role also assists with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; follows safety and security procedures; and supports guests and team goals. A technical, trade, or vocational school degree and at least three years of related work experience are preferred, while no supervisory experience or license or certification is required.
