UAB Temporary Services is building a general temporary staffing pool for a Dental Assistant to support endodontic procedures and dental department operations. The role includes chairside assistance, maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment and instruments, taking and processing patient radiographs, dispensing and replenishing supplies, disposing of infectious waste, and helping with front-desk duties such as answering calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments, and receiving procedure payments. Applicants must graduate from an accredited Dental Assistant Program, although relevant work experience may substitute for education; knowledge of sterilization, chairside assisting, and X-ray processing is preferred.
