Description
AltaMed is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists and dental hygienists in delivering primary dental care at a clinic or mobile oral health unit. The role also handles sterilization, instrument and supply preparation and inventory, and infection control in patient-care areas. A high school diploma or GED, board-approved Dental Practice Act training, X-ray, infection-control, and current Basic Life Support certificates are required; accredited dental assisting training and English/Spanish bilingual ability are preferred. Compensation is $25.00 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits.
